I cannot get over how gorgeous this little girl is. I have so many Images I would love to share of Thea, but realistically I need to keep it brief!

Thea arrived with the most amazing rockstar hair, which she clearly got from her dad. So sleepy with the most perfect dainty little features too. This first prop set pictured below sings gypsy to me and I think it suits Thea’s skin tone perfectly. I love the vintage feel in this set!

I love photographing newborn girl’s particularly because there is so much more you can do with them. Headbands, flowers and a whole range of colours. Luckily for me Thea look’s great in just about everything. When baby is first born I usually ask the parent’s to send me a picture of their new baby so that I can choose prop sets in advance that will compliment their skin tones. I just knew the bold red’s and magenta’s would fit perfectly for Thea.

For such a pretty little girl, I just had to do a floral set. I’m in love with hessian at the moment and I couldn’t love this set more. A little shout out to Handmade headbands by Sarah, which is where I get these gorgeous tie backs from. I wish I got to use mint more often, but very few babies skin tones suit it, Thea’s father has passed down his Filipino colouring which is absolutely gorgeous to photograph <3

When Thea’s mum first booked in her biggest request was a Harry Potter set, Melissa openly admits to being a “it of a nerd” when it comes to Harry potter and she brought along some gorgeous props. We didn’t get to use them all because Melissa has quite the collection! But we did put together a gorgeous little set fit for a newborn with them.

I’ll finish this post off with one of my favourite images from the gallery. The cosy family photo of the parent’s taking in that fresh newborn baby smell… like new car smell.. but WAY better!
