Lincoln | Baby Photography

It was hard to crack a smile from this determined little munchkin. But we did get some! I did however fall in love with this images  – looks like a total bad boy haha

This little cap worked so well for him to play peek a boo with. At 6 Months old Lincoln had the chubbiest most gorgeous rolls that I have seen in a while. I miss this age, before the stranger danger really comes in to play, when they are happy enough to throw smiles and giggles out at the silliest of things.

Lincoln’s Mum had a few outfits prepared for his shoot, this is one stylish little lad. I have quite enjoyed doing all these children/ older baby sessions lately – keep them coming!

Kailey | Bunbury Baby Photography

This little poppet was the teeniest tiniest little baby that I have every had in my studio. At Five pounds six ounces she fit so perfectly in even the smallest of props that I have but boy she was a hungry little thing! Not liking to be posed too much we got through our set ups quickly so not to upset her but luckily she let me pose her just long enough to get what we needed from each one.

I couldn’t believe how tiny she was. My own little girl was born 6 Pound 2 Ounces, which I thought was small but Kailey was so dainty and petite it really was incredible to see such a tiny human in my cozy little studio! Kailey definitely had an amazing set of lungs. Probably one of the loudest cries I have heard – from the smallest being!

Rylan | Bunbury Baby Photography

Meet Rylan!

This little guy was happy enough to let me pose him in each pose for just long enough for me to photograph what I needed. Perfect! Rylan is also Violet from my last post’s brand new cousin.  Such a photographic family!

I also managed to merge an image of Rylan onto a swing , a little like the dream catcher image from previous. Rylan was tucked up snug in a bowl in my studio and I merged him with an image of a swing that my daughter and I took a week or so before. I am really enjoying making some images that boarder on artwork that are completely safe for baby and beautiful all at that same time.

I actually built this swing about a year ago but didn’t feel entirely safe actually placing babies on it – even with something underneath. But I am loving it for composites!

Violet | Bunbury Baby Photography

I first photographed Violet when she was a Newborn last year and oh my has she grown into the most beautiful little girl. She was a little reluctant to smile for me, but we did manage to get a few giggles out of her. Her very clever Nanna altered this amazing dress for her down from a size 4! and added her own little designs to it along with the headband – seriously clever!

I will be seeing Violet again very shortly for her birthday shoot, which will have a vintage theme. Can’t wait to photograph her again with that gorgeous little face!

Stay tuned for some images of Violet’s brand new cousin Rylan who I also Photographed last week. The cute genes must run in their family because Rylan is going to be a heart breaker too!

Milly | Bunbury Baby Photography

Meet Milly. What a little sweetheart she is! Looking just like her big sister she was cute as a button. Milly was content little baby and she let me pose her with ease.

This gorgeous dream catcher shot is actually a composite image. Milly was tucked up nicely on a bean bag in the warmth of my studio and I merged her into the dream catcher in photo shop. I will be doing more and more of these in the future for the dream catcher as I feel like this is the safest option for the precious bubs, but also provides beautiful images.

The image of Milly with big sister Lottie below with the pram is also a composite, Milly was no where near the pram while Lottie was playing with it – for safety purposes.  Milly’s Mum Chloe was right next to Milly the whole time 🙂

Grace – Bunbury Children’s Photography

Grace made the perfect little princess for her session. She was truly gorgeous and her eyes really popped against the grey backdrop.

Grace was a bit weary when she came in, its not often you get told “Go on – Make a mess!” So the session started off with her listening and taking some direction and gradually she got the idea. The only thing Grace couldn’t master was flattening her fingers out when she blew the glitter so she had a few backfires in her face and she was quite sparkly!

By the end of the session Grace was getting quite into it and as most kids find – making a mess was actually lots of fun. If you are interested in a photo shoot with glitter for your little guy or girl please drop me a line and I can give you some details. They are best done after 3 years old however so that they can take direction and understand how to blow the glitter from their hands.

*** Glitter Fun ***

Bunbury Children's Photographer | Lineham Photography | Bunbury PhotographerLast week I tried something new. Again, my beautiful test subject – my little girl giving this a crack. Usually she can be a bit elusive to photograph as she has been photographed SO many times haha But she thoroughly enjoyed this and it was the perfect girly shoot to capture her innocence and beauty at this age. Probably one of my most favorite sessions (Of MANY) that I have shot with her.

The clean up. Well, who on earth would purposely spread glitter all around? I know right! Two baths and a few shampoo’s and she was clean again. Phew! The studio was pretty easy too thankfully.  Totally worth it. I have decided that every now and then I will run some mini’s of these – So if you are interested please drop me a line and I’ll add you to a list to contact when I run them 🙂

Composite images!

Bunbury Newborn Photographer| Lineham Photography | Bunbury PhotographerThis little fellow came to visit me in the studio last week, and now that I have finished his gallery I decided to have a little play with an image I took while out looking at locations with my Daughter on Sunday. This is my first real crack at a location composite. I do a lot of composite’s for my newborn shoots in the studio for safety reasons (Newborn’s are precious let’s not hurt them or put them in danger!). Images like my Dream catcher images are composites and quite often Toddler’s with Newborn images are too to make sure that they are safe at all times.

I loved creating this image, and this little baby never even left my studio. Which was just as well – there was Mozzie’s galore where I shot the background! I shot a few candid images of my Daughter while I was at this location about 25km from Bunbury. My favorite is below…

COMPETITION WINNER’S!

_MG_5913 Bunbury Baby Photograher | Lineham Photography | Bunbury Photographer

These two stunning little beauty’s are the winner’s of my competition that I ran on my facebook page last week.

Myra and Aster came in for their prize of a 30 minute photo session on Saturday morning. Aster was a little weary of me and my equipment but slowly warmed to me and a little “Hey Dougie” cheered her up when she wasn’t so excited about laying down for a few photo’s.

Myra was a little pocket rocket. Not interested in staying still at ALL! 10 months old and full of beans, laying down was a split second affair. Myra’s Mum must have some serious energy to keep up with her. Tiny like a little baby but definitely on the move. Myra has the most amazing blue eyes and dark lashes, it was the first thing I noticed when she came into the studio and I just can’t believe those lashes!

Congratulations to these two winner’s and their parents – I hope you love your prize!

Harper Day 9 | Bunbury Newborn Photogrphy

Oh my what a little sweetie Harper was yesterday!! Those gorgeous squishy cheeks is all you can wish for when doing this pose. Such beautiful chocolate brown hair and silky smooth skin, absolute perfection. Harper’s big brother James wasn’t entirely impressed about being photographed and definitely had a bit of stranger danger going on, but after a while of playing match box cars on the floor with him he warmed to me. Boys and their toys right!?

We got some absolutely gorgeous images on Harper and her family including this image below of baby Harper and her Daddy Mike. Pure love right there! One of my favorite parent images I would have to say and Harper’s Mum just loves it!
